Can I take LaTeX created equations into MathType?

Mathtype 2E2A Is it possible to take equations that have been created in LaTeX and put them into MathType? No, however the ability to import TeX and LaTeX code into MathType is a feature that a lot of customers have requested. While there are currently no plans to implement this feature, it may be included in a future version of MathType. MathType can export equations created in the MathType environment to the clipboard as TeX or LaTeX, (both plain and AMS), and subsequently edit this MathType-native TeX or LaTeX code. Mathtype 4 en
