Statement of Policy
Purpose of this statement This statement addresses the issue of Year 2000 compatibility of all software products manufactured by Visual Solutions, Inc. This statement applies to all software products including earlier versions: v. 1.2, v. 1.5, v. 2.0, as well as all upcoming versions, manufactured by Visual Solutions, Inc.
Display of the dates in VisSim diagrams Users can stamp the date and time on a VisSim diagram by using the date block from the Annotation menu. This field will then be automatically synchronised with the current time and date, as set by the operating system.
Consequently, the values represented by this field are directly controlled by the settings entered in the Regional Settings section of the Control Panel under Windows 95, and by equivalent settings on Windows 3.1, Windows NT, and UNIX operating systems.

Calculations, comparison, and sorts based on the date field All software products manufactured by Visual Solutions, Inc. use the date solely for the purpose of identifying the time and date. The date field is not used by any Visual Solutions software product for any calculations, comparisons, or sorting.
