Aim of the coursesThis FREE half-day seminar will bring you up to date with the state of the art in data acquisition hardware and software solutions.
If you need to increase your awareness about the latest PC-based techniques and technologies for collecting, monitoring and analysing signals realtime, then this seminar offers insight into the latest and best data acquisition solutions around.
The Seminar will...
- Describe effective methods of setting up and automating data acquisition routines.
- Explain and compare signal conditioning options.
- Review the range of hardware options available for PC-based acquisition.
- Discuss the use of analogue inputs/outputs, digital inputs/outputs, RS232 and IEEE-488 interfaces.
- Show how to select the most appropriate sampling rate.
- Describe sources of error (aliasing, noise etc) and how to avoid them.
- Demonstrate some of the leading software tools available for setting up and running data acquisition and signal conditioning applications.
You should attend if...
- Your work involves the collection of data from transducers and sensors.
- You need to know more about today's hardware and software choices for data acquisition.
- You want to know which of the many types of data acquisition hardware available best suits your application.
- You have a need for PC-based data acquisition.
- Your need to collect data in the field or factory, using a notebook or desktop PCs.
- You are looking to set up a data acquisition application in software without having to program.
- You are seeking an all-in-one, single-box solution to connect several different transducers to your PC.
What you get...
The Seminar aims to provide you with a structured and effective way of assessing how you can best solve your data acquisition problem. We will introduce you to a broad range of hardware and software products. There will be no 'hard sell', but you will have the opportunity to question our technical specialists and discuss your specific application.
The Seminar will be held in our modern, purpose-built, air-conditioned Seminar Suite located within our main offices at Letchworth, Herts. The Suite is fully equipped with a computer data/graphics and video projection system, so that everyone is able to see and follow the presentations easily and in comfort. Refreshments are provided free of charge.
What do you plan to do with your data?
We're also giving participants a free Information Pack describing our comprehensive range of data analysis software tools for graphing, processing, analysing and visualising the data you collect.
