Reference Manager: Team Playing Referencing Tool
Research rarely happens in isolation. Whatever the topic
under investigation, researchers will invariably interact with
others to exchange ideas, share sources and draw
conclusions. Consequently, a reference managing and citation tool
able to facilitate and simplify collaboration is always going to be
high on the wish list of research teams around the world.
Reference Manager12 for Windows, developed by renowned
information specialists Thomson Reuters, is the only bibliographic
software solution to offer true network capabilities. Designed
specifically for work groups and research teams, it enables
multiple users to simultaneously edit the same record even down
to the same field.
Reference Manager also makes it possible to share references
and work with colleagues even if they don't have the software
installed on their machine. The Web Publisher component lets
users post up to 15 databases online, so that anyone with a web
browser can view, search through and create static reference lists
or export references to their bibliographic product of choice.
In addition to these unique co-working capabilities, Reference
Manager provides very effective tools for searching online databases,
capturing and organising references, creating and formatting
citations, as well as generating bibliographies automatically.
