DASYLab: Test and Measurement System Setup Made Simple
DASYLab 12 is a data
acquisition application
designed with ease of
use in mind, so that scientists
or engineers from all walks of
life are able to acquire, display,
analyse and fully process their
measurement data without
writing a line of code.
This latest release comes with
a set of new IVI drivers for a
wide variety of IVI-based
hardware devices.
Interchangeable Virtual
Instruments (IVI) is a revolutionary standard for instrument driver
software technology. It aims to standardise specifications for
seamlessly programming and communicating with test instruments
across different I/O buses such as GPIB, VXI, PXI, Serial, Ethernet
and USB to better guarantee system performance, development
flexibility and simple instrument interchangeability.
DASYLab 12 also comes with completely revised Examples which
are documented in a separate help file. You can load and edit the
Example worksheets directly from the help file, and run them into
a second DASYLab instance. You can then view and compare your
own worksheet side-by-side with the Example worksheet. The new
Examples use the portable *.DSA format, making it easier to work
with them in different versions of DASYLab. Other new features
include a completely new MSI-based installation and
configuration tool which lets you build and modify the DASYLab
installation according to your specific application; updated file
handling in modules; plus support for JPG and PNG graphics
formats in addition to BMP and WMF formats in the Layout.
DASYLab 12 also comes with support for multi-core processors
and two-screen display systems, plus various enhancements and
big fixes.
