Here
at Adept Scientific we're always looking for the best products
to benefit our users. So this issue we're delighted to tell
you about a terrific new application, BlockBuilder for Simulink,
as well as exciting new versions of EndNote and Tecplot. We're
also reviewing some really outstanding new stand-alone data loggers,
a new Maple electronic book, a new shock response spectrum analysis
add-on for FlexPro and much more too.
One theme runs through so
many of our product descriptions, and that's
the way they communicate. These days it's not fashionable to
have separate islands of data, and with good reason. The work you
do represents a valuable investment, and it should be easily accessible
to all your colleagues and available for reuse. The information you
capture, analyse and store should be easily exportable to other applications
too, so you or your colleagues can further analyse, manipulate and
present it.
That's why our key products - Maple, FlexPro,
DASYLab, EndNote and Mathcad among them - have such a focus on
the management of data and knowledge, and close interoperability
with other applications (and in particular with Microsoft Excel
and Word) so that you can make the most use of your data and use
your time even more effectively.
Happy
reading!
