| At last, a software standard for analytical instruments

There are hundreds of analytical instruments around, from dozens of
different vendors. Most use a dedicated software package supplied by
the manufacturer to control the hard-ware and acquire, view, process,
save and print data. If this software doesn't meet your data handling
needs, you're in trouble.
GRAMS/AI software provides a data handling environment
that is compatible with data from just about every analytical instrument
on the market: IR, FT-IR, NIR, UV-VIS, Raman, NMR, GC, GC/MS, HPLC and
more. Most labs use a variety of instrument techniques from a variety
of manufacturers, so GRAMS/AI gives you the benefit of a standard file
format and processing environment for all your instrument data. What's
more, it lets you perform all your data handling and manipulation tasks
on a standard PC, freeing up expensive instrument time.
The developers
of GRAMS/AI, Thermo Galactic, have produced an ActiveX-based programming
interface that is rapidly becoming a standard for analytical instruments.
As more and more hardware and software developers adopt this "My
Instrument" standard, you'll find increasingly
that the laboratory, QA/QC, process control and other applications you
choose will be able to communicate with your instruments.
GRAMS/AI of
course supports this standard, and its incredibly powerful data processing
and analysis capabilities make it a must for any lab that works with
spectrometric and chromatographic data. |
