Research-strength curve-fitting and data analysis inside Excel?
Xlfit 4 makes this a reality. Now you can visualise, interpret and present
your Excel data without leaving the spreadsheet itself.
If you like to store data inside Microsoft Excel but you’re resigned
to having to export the data for subsequent analysis, XLfit 4 could change
the way you work. It’s the only curve-fitting and statistical analysis
package that allows you to preview, build and customise charts in the
same workbook as your experimental data. That’s right - no more
switching back and forth between a curve-fitting program and Excel!
XLfit 4 offers many fit categories and models to cater for the chart-building
requirements of a wide range of users. It brings to Excel three-dimensional
modelling, global fitting throughout a range of data sets and automatic
data point rejection, and all through an intuitive interface with preview
and browsing tools that allow you to fit curves, perform statistical analysis
and view and overlay charts with ease.
We’ve found Xlfit 4 very easy to use. The preview pane in the Fit
and Chart Designers allows you to instantly visualise data even before
applying a model, so you can get an overall impression of how the data
looks before analysis begins. Then click to select a model from an extensive
range of fit model categories, and immediately see how your model affects
the fit. As you select a model, XLfit 4 displays a brief description of
it and its formula; then instantly preview how parameter settings, automatic
data point knockout, weighting, error bar values and intersects affect
the fit.
Best of all, from your templates, select the graph you want to present
and copy it into Microsoft PowerPoint or Word, where you still have full
editing control over the chart and its content. The chart is copied as
an object, so it retains a high visual integrity with no jagged lines
or smudging.
This really is well worth a look.
