New products from the leader in low-cost USB data acquisition now with added DAQFlex

Measurement Computing Corporation (Norton, MA) has released two low-cost, multifunction USB DAQ devices.

The 12-bit USB-1208FS-Plus and 14-bit USB-1408FS-Plus both offer eight analogue inputs with sample rates up to 50 kS/sec, two analogue outputs, 16 digital I/O and one counter.

A complete range of software options is included with the new modules including out of the box TracerDAQ™, along with comprehensive support for Visual Studio® and Visual Studio®.NET, DASYLab®, NI LabVIEW™ and MATLAB®. Also included is Measurement Computing’s DAQFlex open-source software framework with support for Windows®, Linux® and Mac® operating systems.

High-speed multifunction OEM boards

Measurement Computing Corporation’s (MCC) (Norton, MA) USB-2500 Series of high-speed multifunction OEM boards are available from Adept Scientific (Letchworth, Herts).  The USB-2500 Series are multifunction measurement and control boards designed for OEM or embedded applications; each board is supported under the popular Microsoft Windows® operating systems.

The USB-2500 Series provides up to 32 differential or 64 single-ended analogue inputs with 16-bit resolution from its 40-pin connectors. It offers seven software-selectable analogue input ranges of ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2 V, ±1 V, ±0.5 V, ±0.2 V and ±0.1 V. You can configure up to four of the analogue inputs as differential thermocouple (TC) inputs.

The USB-2500 Series is available with up to four 16-bit, 1 MS/s analogue output channels with an output range of -10 V to +10 V. Each board has 24 high-speed lines of digital I/O, two timer outputs and four 32-bit counters. Each board also provides up to 12 MS/s scanning on all digital input lines. You can operate all analogue I/O, digital I/O and counter/timer I/O synchronously.

Measurement Computing’s USB & PCI Boards Now Work with Windows Vista

Users of the popular Measurement Computing range of affordable USB and PCI-based data acquisition hardware can now be confident of compatibility with the latest PC operating system. Adept Scientific (Letchworth, Herts), Measurement Computing’s UK distributor, has announced that all hardware drivers supporting this range, and shipped free of charge with the hardware, are now compatible with Windows Vista. Updated versions are available to existing users as free downloads.

The new drivers and upgrades to Measurement Computing’s industry-leading Universal LibraryTM – a collection of drivers and programming tools that ships free with all MCC boards, standalone and wireless data acquisition devices – will allow engineers and technicians to set up data acquisition applications with Measurement Computing’s hardware, and program in standard or .NET C, C++, C#, or Visual Basic languages with Windows Vista compatibility.
