MathType

Short Description MathType is a powerful interactive tool for Windows and Macintosh that lets you create mathematical notation for word processing and desktop publishing documents, web pages, presentations and for TeX and LaTeX and MathML documents. System OS Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, XP, Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later, including 10.7 (Lion) Processor Pentium or compatible, PowerPC/Mac with Macintosh operating system, or compatible (120MHz recommended) Hard Disk 12 MB free hard disk space. RAM MathType is not RAM-intensive so listing its requirements is not necessary. CDrom CD-ROM drive Other Requirements MathType for PC MathType does not require Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word. However, it adds a MathType ribbon to Word and PowerPoint 2007, and a MathType toolbar and menu to Word 2003, and 2002. MathType for Mac Compatible with Microsoft Office 2011 and Office 2008.
