Short Description With MapleNet, publication of applications created with Maple over the Internet has never been easier: you simply create your technical document in Maple, incorporating Embedded GUI Components to allow easy interaction with the math in the document, and then save it to your MapleNet server. System OS Windows® XP, Vista, 7, Linux®, or Sun Solaris™ Processor See the table below Hard Disk Installation requires approximately 10 MB disk space RAM Minimum 256 MB memory recommended CDrom CD-ROM drive Other Requirements MapleNet Client - Description Requirements Minimum 256 MB memory recommended Java-compatible browser, such as Internet Explorer 6+, FireFox 3.0+, or Safari 1.3+ Java JRE 6 Update 10 (version 1.6.0_10) or later, including browser plug-in (required for some types of interactive content) MapleNet Publisher A publisher machine is responsible for creating and editing the content of web pages and uploading them to the server. Note that a single machine can be both server and publisher. Requirements Maple 15 installed on any Maple-14 compatible system Java SDK 1.6.0 or later Java JRE 1.6.0_10 or later, including browser plug-in File transfer software, such as FTP or SCP, for copying files to the server Installation requires approximately 20 MB disk space Recommended - A Java development environment, such as Eclipse, JBuilder™, VisualAge®, or VisualCafe™, if developing Java applets Recommended - A web page development environment, such as Dreamweaver® MapleNet Server Requirements Maple 15 installed on any compatible Windows, Linux, Intel Macintosh, or Sun Solaris server grade system MapleNet Server components consume approximately 30 MB of memory while running, plus 3 MB per connection-the connections are of short duration and are not persistent Installation requires approximately 85 MB disk space Web server software that supports v2.3 servlets and JSP, such as Apache Tomcat 5.0 or later Java SDK 1.6.0_10 or later Java JRE 1.6.0_10 or later, including browser plug-in (needed only if the server is also used as a client for testing purposes)
