- A: No. But Word2TeX will do this job.
Installing/Uninstalling
- Q: After installing TeX2Word there's, no "TeX" option
in File|Open... Why?
- A: TeX2Word program folder contains file tex2word.cnv.
Copy tex2word.cnv to the Text Converters folder (usually Program
Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\TEXTCONV).
After doing this you'll have to open any text file (non-native Word
doc) in Word and the "TeX" option will appear in File|Open...
dialogue box.
Equation conversion
- Q: I converted an LaTeX document to Word with TeX2Word, but
I got [EQUATION] text in place of every equation. Why?
- A: TeX2Word converts equations to Design Science MathType
(version 4 and later) equations. You need to install MathType. Design
Science MathType version 5 is distributed as a 30-day evaluation
and then it goes to Lite mode. It is enough to have MathType 5 in
Lite mode for TeX2Word to display equations correctly.
