How to use MARC Notepad with BookWhere
- Open MARC Notepad with a blank document to receive records from
BookWhere
- Open BookWhere and perform a search
- Select one or more records from
the result list
- Use a right-mouse click
--> SendTo --> MARC Notepad
- Switch to MARC Notepad
- Double-click on the record in MARC Notepad to open the editor
- Double-click on a tag to open the tag editor
- Toggle between the Advanced or the Basic tag editor according
to your preference
- Apply a Macro to a record or set of records to add holdings or
remove extraneous tags
- Return to BookWhere; start a new search to locate more records
- Save the records for subsequent editing or import to your library
management system
