VisSim/Comm Personal
Edition (VisSim/Comm PE) is an entry level version of VisSim/Comm™
- a Windows-based software program for modelling and simulating analogue,
digital or mixed-mode communication systems at the signal or physical
level. VisSim/Comm PE combines an intuitive drag-and-drop block diagram
interface with a powerful time-domain simulation engine that produces
fast and accurate solutions for even the most complex communication systems.
With VisSim/Comm PE engineers can simulate and view signal waveforms at
any stage of communication system chain.
A comprehensive set of proven communication
blocks including signal sources, encoders/decoders, modulators/demodulators,
filters, channels, RF components and PLLs makes it easy to build, modify
and maintain complex communication systems. Additionally, VisSim/Comm
PE includes built-in FIR and IIR filter design wizards to simplify and
automate the filter design process.
VisSim/Comm PE also includes the VisSim/Viewer™,
a run-time, view-only version that allows users to freely distribute models
to colleagues and customers not themselves licenced to use VisSim/Comm
PE.
