Compander A Compander allows the applicatino of unequal quantisation. This example shows the non-linear quantisation which can be achieved by using a Compander.
Phase Rotation The Phase Rotation block can be used to rotate any complex signal, in this case a QPSK constellation. The phase value can be either a constant (as in this example) or a varying phase term.
Integrate & Dump The Integrate and Dump block is used to integrate a demodulated signal at a specified sybol rate, thus producing "Dumped" values suitable for Bit/Symbol detection
IQ Mapper Example The IQ Mapper block and IQ Detector block can be used to resepectively generate and detect arbitrary constellations in the IQ phase plane.
Complex FFT The Complex FFT block outputs its result one sample at a time (this can be used to operate on the frequency domain signal just as any other signal (e.g. apply filtering etc)
Phase Unrwap Block The Phase Unwrap block detects 2 Pi jumps when they occur, and unwraps the phase accordingly. The block can operate in either radians or degrees
Delay Block Example The Delay block is used in this example to synchronise the Real and Imaginary Parts of a complex signal being generated by taking th eHilbert transform of a real input signal. A Delay block is also used to delay the FFT trigger pulse so that the data interval for the FFT take sthe hilbert FIR delay into account
