| Sample MathType Documents for the Macintosh
The sample documents listed below were all created using
MathType with various tools. The HTML documents can be loaded directly
into your web browser. The other documents should be downloaded and loaded
into the applications that created them.
Several types of documents are available for download or
display:
Word processing documents
MathType works with any word processor to create publication-quality
technical documents. The following documents can be downloaded and printed
with your own printer so you can see the high-quality output you get with
MathType. Some of the documents contain embedded fonts, so for best results,
save the file to your hard drive and open the file by double-clicking
on it to launch it in your word processor.
To save the files to your hard drive, do the following:
- Ctrl-click on the link.
- On the pop-up menu, choose "Download Link to Disk" (Internet
Explorer), or "Save this Link as..." (Netscape Navigator)
- Specify a filename and folder on your system and click "Save".
- To save download time, download the compressed versions. We recommend
you download the "compressed" (.sit) version (it's smaller
and faster), but some browsers are more compatible with the "BinHex"
(.hqx) version.
- If you plan on downloading several files, see the
second table. This table contains groups of compressed files you
can download together.
- Note: Word files are in Word 98 format. WordPerfect
files are in WordPerfect 3.5 format. AppleWorks files are in ClarisWorks
4 format.

Presentations
MathType can be used with any presentation software to create
slides for use in overhead or on-screen presentations. The following Microsoft
PowerPoint presentations are good examples. Notice the animated special
effects on some of the slides. For a faster download, we recommend
you download the compressed (.sit) version (it's smaller and faster),
but some browsers are more compatible with the BinHex (.hqx) version.
(These presentations were created with PowerPoint 98.)

Acrobat and Web documents
Since Adobe Acrobat PDF files and Web documents can be displayed
on both Macintosh and PC platforms, see the main MathType
