MathSoft has just released (20 May 1999) a new patch to Mathcad 8 Professional. The 8.03 patch addresses the following main issues:

1) It updates Mathcad 8 to use the latest version of the Microsoft system libraries. If you previously copied an older version of Microsoft's mfc42.dll to your Mathcad directory, this will be removed during installation.
2) A number of recalculation problems reported in 8.02 have been fixed.
3) Editing, copying and moving regions are more stable.
4) Certain problems affecting recursive programs have been fixed.
5) References and hyperlinks have been improved.

A number of other issues have also been addressed, covering such areas as the use of international characters, display and printing problems in 2D and 3D plots, numeric functions, editing features and compatibility with earlier versions of Mathcad.
