Mathcad System Requirements

Mathcad PLUS 6.0 for Windows 3.1
Mathcad PLUS 6.0 requires: An 80386 or higher IBM or compatible PC (80486 or higher recommended). Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or later running on MS-DOS or PC-DOS version 3.3 or later; or Windows NT 3.5 or Windows 95. At least 8MB RAM with 12MB swap space. A hard disk with at least 20MB of free space. A maths coprocessor is not required, but recommended. The C/C++ programming interface requires a 32-bit C/C++ compiler.

Mathcad PLUS 6 for Macintosh
Mathcad PLUS 6 for Macintosh requires: A 68030 or higher Macintosh computer - Power Mac recommended; non Power Mac processors require a Floating Point Unit (fpu). CD-ROM drive*. MacOS version 7.1 or later. At least 8MB RAM and a hard disk with at least 15MB of free space.

* Mathcad PLUS 6 for Macintosh is supplied on CD-ROM. A 3.5" diskette version is available on request for a small handling fee.
