Mathcad DDE Link Example

Description:
Sets up a Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) link between an Excel Worksheet and a Mathcad document.

Contents:
An Excel workbook, and a Mathcad document.

Instructions:
Download the file ddetest.zip to a temporary directory. Unzip it and follow the instructions in install.txt.

Note: This only works with Excel 5.0 and above, and with Mathcad patched to version 6.0c or higher (see the Mathcad patches page).

Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) has replaced DDE in Mathcad 7 Professional. For information on OLE Automation and scripting samples linking Mathcad/MathConnex with Excel, Imagineer, AutoCAD and other OLE-compliant applications.
