Built-in functions simplify many signal processing tasks. Here, built-in functions for filtering digital signals under various sampling rates and conditions simply analysis procedures making it easy to perform iterative what-if scenarios.

 


With MathcadÍs support for scripting languages, creating your own custom application is easy. Here, an audio signal is processed, and then the output is displayed within a custom application.

 

 
This example illustrates "smoothing" by computing the linear convolution of 2-Dimensional data using a 2D FFT technique. The input data, along with the convolved data is shown here, both as images and as surface plots.

 

 


This example illustrates how the Remez exchange algorithm for FIR filter design is easily applied to calculate the impulse response of the filter and associated stopband and passband errors, using external frequencies
