MapleNet Demos & Tutorials

Below are a series of downloadable demonstrations and tutorials that highlight features and functionality of MapleNet. MapleNet is the environment of choice for deploying technical knowledge and mathematical applications online.

Prerequisites
This site requires you to have the Java 2 Runtime Environment (J2RE), v. 1.4.1_01, 1.4.1_02 or 1.4.2, including the browser plugin. If you do not have the J2RE installed, go to the Sun Microsystems, Inc. J2RE page to download and install the version appropriate for your system.

In most cases, the maplenetclient.jar file, required to access MapleNet content, will download and install automatically when you access your first applet or Maplet. If, for some reason, the download and installation doesn't happen, you can copy the file maplenetclient.jar (found in the Resources section) directly to the extension directory of the J2RE that is used by the browser. For example, the lib\ext directory of the J2RE.

Note that content on this page is Maplesoft Premium Content and requires that you provide some basic contact information prior to downloading.
