Maple allows you to perform matrix computations with both numeric
and symbolic data. Data can easily be imported and exported in a variety
of formats,
so it is easy to take advantage of Maple's powerful analysis,
manipulation, and visualization abilities no matter what form your data
is in or what else
you need to do with it afterwards.
- You can easily import and export data programmatically, using context-sensitive menus, and the data import assistant.
- Maple supports a wide variety of data types including ASCII, CSV, Matrix Market, and MATLAB® data.
- You can control and manipulate the data during import and export, including specifying data types, delimiters, and number
of lines to skip. You can also transpose data on import and export.
- Optionally, imported data can also be loaded into interactive
data tables, which are new in Maple 15, for easy visualization and
interactivity.
- Support for importing and exporting MATLAB® matrices in Maple
15 has been extended to handle sparse matrices as well as dense ones.
