Symbol Recognition
To help you find a symbol that you need from a collection of over 1000
symbols, Maple allows you to use your mouse to sketch the symbol in the
Symbol Recognition palette as you would draw it on paper. The symbol
recognizer searches through all of the symbols and offers you a choice
of probable matches.
To insert the symbol, you can click or drag the button of the matching
symbol into your document as you would use any other palette. You can
also add that symbol to your Favorites palette for easy access in the
future.
