Vector Calculus Task Templates
Vector Calculus Task Template enhancements provide new templates and improved notation support to make these notationally challenging problems easier to set up and the results easier to interpret. Task templates provide convenient, fill-in-the-blank problem solvers for a large variety of computations. With these additions, Maple 13 now has over 50 templates for Vector Calculus.

- Improved notation support in the templates takes advantage of Maple’s extensive typesetting abilities to let you enter and read complicated notation in the same way as you would write it by hand and see in print.
- Over 15 new task templates provide assistance with:
- Setting coordinate attributes in 2-D and 3-D for common and less common coordinate systems, providing an easy mechanism to set up the problem framework.
- Multiple integration for integrating functions over 2-D and 3-D regions, including general regions, circles, triangles, cubes, and spheres.
- Constructing and plotting rooted vectors, constructing vector fields and position vectors, integrating planar vector fields, and more.
- Over 15 enhanced templates for surface and flux integration provide greatly simplified problem entry.
