Equation Manipulator Assistant
The Equation
Manipulator enables you to easily perform mathematical
operations on equations through the use of buttons
and menus. For example, using the equation manipulator,
you can square both sides, multiply both sides by
-5, and expand, factor, or complete the square of
one side of the equation. In Maple 13, the equation
manipulator is now easier to access. In addition to
being available through the context menu, it is now
accessible from the Tools>Assistants menu. You
can launch the assistant from your document if the
equation already appears there, or you can enter your
equation directly into the assistant by launching
the assistant from the Tools menu.
