With Maple 13, your 3-D plots will look better, render faster, and convey more information than ever before. While maintaining full backwards compatibility with the previous plotting engine, Maple 13 gives you access to many exciting new abilities.
- Full plot annotation support allows you to add additional information to your 3-D plots, making them more attractive and easier to interpret. Available annotations include titles and labels that contain both text and mathematics, arrows, free-hand drawings, shapes, tickmark labels in multiples of the symbol π and individually colored axes.
- With fly-through animations, you can gain additional insight from your 3-D plots. User-defined camera paths let you explore as a virtual camera flies through, over, under, into and around your surface.
- Using the full rotational controls, you can interactively change the view through three angles of rotation, allowing you to focus more easily on points of interest.
