3-D Plot Annotations
Plot annotation support allows you to add additional information to your 3-D plots, making them more meaningful, attractive, and easier to interpret. As part of the new 3-D plotting features in Maple 13, many annotations that were previously only available for 2-D plots are now also available for 3-D plots, including:
- Titles and labels that contain both text and mathematics
- Arrows, shapes, and free-hand drawings
- Tickmark labels in multiples of the symbol π
In addition, with 3-D plots, you have the ability to individually color axes.
As with 2-D plots, annotations can be created and modified with the Plot Builder assistant, context-sensitive menus, interactive plotting tools, and options to plot commands. |
