RS232 to TCP/IP Converters
There are many companies making RS232 to TCP/IP converters. For 1 to
2 serial ports, these usually sell for $300-$500 (more ports are available).
The Lantronix MSS1 and the Z-World EM1000 data converters are a couple
of options (please see our Links page). Another option is TCP/com software
from TAL Technologies. TCP/Com is less expensive than a converter box
however you wouldl need to attach your serial RS232 devices to a Windows
PC connected to the TCP/IP network.
Compatibility Requirements TCPWedge is a 32 bit Windows program
with minimal systems requirements. It will run fine under any 32 bit version
of Windows including Windows 95, 98, NT and Windows 2000.
