What’s New in GRAMS 9.2

This release has been delivered entirely under our product health initiative and illustrates our commitment to customer satisfaction throughout our software portfolio.

The release addresses issues in multiple modules of the suite (see release notes), rolls in updates to the raw instrument data converters, adds web services connectivity to Spectral ID Server and support for the Windows 8.1 platform.

In order to address more esoteric data formats, not covered by our comprehensive list of converters, GRAMS has a module known as Excel Exchange. This has been entirely re-written in .Net for GRAMS 9.2 – allowing almost any ASCII data to be rendered and processed in the GRAMS 9.2 suite.

The windows plug-ins developed for Envision which allow thumbnail viewing, preview and full text search of Spectra and GAML files on the windows desktop have also been rolled in to GRAMS 9.2 – providing an unprecedented user experience. (see video)

Thank you so much for all your help this morning. Endnote works just fine now and I’m enjoying working on this editorial. I am almost tempted to add your name as a co-author, but the journal won’t allow it! Thanks again.
