Designing charts with FlexPro is fun!
Use the powerful Diagram Wizard to choose from over 100 chart types. Define
and scale axes, legends etc. the way you want them to be. Edit such attributes
as font size and color without having to wade through numerous dialog
boxes. Drag-&-drop curves onto your graph. Display statistics and
smaller data series in tables.'
It’s all so easy with FlexPro!
Within your FlexPro document, you can place diagrams, tables, and texts
on as many pages as you want - or let FlexPro automatically break
up large tables and diagrams such as strip chart recordings into as many
pages as the data set demands. Insert illustrations, labels, headers,
and footers. Import your company logo as an OLE object.
FlexPro's powerful cursor functions make it easy to extract every
last piece of information from your data. You can survey, zoom, scroll,
and highlight your data. All information is clearly displayed in the
coordinates window. You can save individual values or areas of curves
for further processing.
You can arrange multiple 2D or 3D diagrams in a worksheet and use the
cursor to compare curves - FlexPro synchronizes cursor movement
across multiple diagrams
FlexPro
Standard
If, like most technical professionals,
you need to do more than simply visualize your data, you’ll want
the analytical power of FlexPro Standard. It delivers pre designed analysis
objects for FFT, event isolation, statistics, filters, curve fitting and
much more. Just highlight the data set you want to use and select the appropriate
analysis function. That's it!
You can create your own algorithms as formulas using FPScript. Choose
from over 200 functions and a variety of operators –
FlexPro incorporates Wizards to help you get it right. FPScript is specially
designed for data analysis. For instance, you can process complete signals
with X and Y data in a single line of code without using loops, combine
them, extract sections and much more. You can also quickly apply your
FPScript formulas via drag-&-drop to more than one data set at a
time, for example to scale raw data.
Once you have determined how your data should be mathematically analyzed
and then graphically displayed, you have a template that you can re-use
for future analyses. Simply import the data from a new test into FlexPro
and update your documents with a mouse click. It’s a great time-saver.
For special analyses such as sound and vibration, fatigue testing, engine
development, and Statistical Process Control, there are optional add-ons
for Spectral Analysis, Acoustics, Counting Procedures, Inductive Statistics,
and Order Tracking
FlexPro
Professional
The ultimate tool for presentation and
analysis of scientific, engineering, and technical data, FlexPro Professional
incorporates the Microsoft Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA)
development environment.
This allows you to create custom user interfaces and dialog boxes, set
up import filters for your data formats, and automate your analyses.
The object model provides you with access to all FlexPro functions. Creating
your own applications with FlexPro Professional is easy because you can
record as many operational steps as you want in a macro and then afterwards
edit it using the Visual Basic Code Editor.
The development environment includes project management, a user-friendly
editor with IntelliSense® technology, the Visual Basic Forms dialog
box editor and a powerful debugger. Microsoft Visual Basic is one of
the most widely used programming languages in the world and is the tool
of choice for millions of developers. Other data analysis software uses
proprietary scripting tools; FlexPro Professional brings you all the
benefits of using an industry standard, including the huge range of existing
resources, such as ActiveX controls to capture data or to access databases.
VBA programs run very fast because they are compiled into machine code.
The FlexPro object model is based on the Automation standard from Microsoft.
This means that you can use a programming language of your choice such
as Java, Delphi, or C++ to automate FlexPro. Many Windows® programs
support Automation, including Microsoft Office® products. For instance,
you can create an application that transfers data from Excel to FlexPro,
analyses and creates a graphic display of the data in FlexPro, then generates
a Word document for the results.
