TopMessage Modular I/O Units
A TopMessage master device can extend its I/O modules by adding slave units. In this way a single master/slave system can have up to 1,000 channels and still operate independently without any PC-support.
The TopMessage modular design, that uses separate I/O modules, enables a range of applications. Depending on the I/O module, analog inputs can process any type of signal, e.g. mA/mV, as well as RTD and thermocouple signals. The analog inputs are both potentially-isolated and differential making transducers unnecessary. This also avoids the hazards associated with earth loops.
