Quanser's Linear Motion Challenges
Quanser's linear motion challenges are designed to bring a range of
control issues to light including: vibration and dynamics, position
control, non-minimum phase behavior, flexible structures, spring and
mass dampers and more. The universal challenge is to design, implement
and test your control system of choice. Each system is supplied with
a state feedback controller, the complete mathematical modeling as
well as the system parameters to help streamline the control system
implementation of your choice.
The linear motion challenges are based on Quanser's
IP02 and HFLC linear motion carts. These carts are made of precisely
machined solid aluminium driven by high quality DC motors. A rack and
pinion mechanism is used for maximum performance to eliminate slippage,
belt stretching and other undesirable effects. For more insight into the
differences between the IP02 and the HFLC and their applications
please see their respective full feature descriptions. |
