Now available from Adept Scientific (Letchworth, Herts), DSP Development Corporation’s (Newton, MA) DADiSP/WAV has been updated to fully integrate with the DADiSP Worksheet providing a complete digital audio data analysis, display and processing environment. DADiSP/WAV allows the user to quickly read, write and edit digital audio data from WAV format files via easy-to-use pop-up menus or simple one line functions.
The DADiSP/WAV module supports standard PCM, extensible or compressed WAV file format for 8, 16, 24, 32 bit and floating point mono, stereo and multichannel data files giving users the flexibility to work directly with their data and take full advantage of the WAV file format.
New Features
DADiSP/WAV Version 3.0 includes a completely redesigned user interface to streamline the process of creating, reading, writing and playing WAV files.
Waveforms from any DADiSP Window can be played with Windows Media Player or any WAV compatible application or directly without a player. The data is automatically scaled to provide optimal signal to noise ratio.
Series can be quantised to standard bit resolutions or user determined quantisation and bit format can be specified for custom applications.
