A fifth of the World’s top 100 universities can’t be wrong
The recently released Top 200 World Universities, compiled by The Times Higher Education (THE), shows just how important an EndNote ® site licence is to the top ranked UK and Irish universities.
Not only have 12 of the top 100 UK and Irish universities improved their ranking but all top 20 UK and Irish universities have eduserv Chest site licences for EndNote.
EndNote is the desktop reference management software used by millions of researchers, librarians and students worldwide and is available from Adept Scientific (Letchworth, Herts).
With EndNote users are able to search Internet-based libraries for the literature references they need to cite in their research papers; build and maintain their own reference databases that can also hold PDFs, figures and illustrations and other associated files; and create bibliographies and figure lists automatically as they write, formatted consistently to the exact requirements of their institution or the publication they are writing for.
EndNote site licensed sites also benefit from EndNote Web which is an intuitive Web-based bibliographic referencing tool ideal for undergraduate and further education students who do not require the full power and flexibility of a desktop package. It provides the tools to help write professional essays, papers and dissertations that contain correctly formatted citations and bibliographies.
Designed to work with EndNote desktop, EndNote Web has the flexibility of the internet and the reliability its predecessor. References can be transferred between the two packages with ease to enable students to continue their work wherever they are.
