“I have been using MathType since 2002, to edit the equations in the lists of errata used by Addison-Wesley to correct errors in The Feynman Lectures on Physics.”
“I also used MathType to edit all the equations in the manuscript of Feynman’s Tips on Physics, by Feynman, Gottlieb and Leighton. Currently, my colleagues and I are working on an electronic source for The Feynman Lectures, in LaTeX and Javascript. Since I am new to LaTeX, and anyway prefer a WYSIWYG editor, I find it very comfortable and convenient to edit equations in MathType and then paste them into our source using MathType’s built-in TeX translators.”
