Available via an annual subscription this interactive internet-based tool provides access to over 1,800 leading reference works and databases from over 40 international publishers and professional societies through a single interface.

Knovel delivers relevant and reliable full-text search results and features interactive digital objects, including charts, tables and graphs. What makes Knovel stand apart from other reference sources is that the rich data contained in charts, tables and graphs are recognised and returned by Knovel’s optimised search; so engineers and scientists get just the answers they need. Engineers can then use Knovel’s interactive features to manipulate the results as required by their work.

Focusing on industries including aerospace and defence, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech, manufacturing and design and construction industries, Knovel currently has 19 subject areas available. Subscriptions are based on how many subject areas are required as well as the number of concurrent licence users.
