Support for international characters expands use of Maple TA.

July 2008: Adept Scientific (Letchworth, Herts) is pleased to announce that Maplesoft™, the leading provider of high-performance software tools for engineering, science and mathematics, has released the next version of Maple TA™, the Company’s popular assessment technology tool. The latest edition of Maple TA provides full support for question content in international languages, thus expanding the reach of the product to non-English speaking students.

Maple TA is an easy-to-use web-based system that helps instructors to create tests and assignments and to assess student responses and performance automatically. It supports complex, free-form entry of mathematical equations and intelligent evaluation of responses, making it ideal for mathematics, science or any other course that requires mathematics. Furthermore, Maple TA is the only system designed specifically for courses using mathematics.

Users will also have access to the Maple TA™ 4.0 Building Block™ for Blackboard Learning System™, an add-on product that allows customers to use Maple TA directly from inside their Blackboard® classes. Support is available for Blackboard Learning System Releases 6.3, 7.x and 8.0.
