Global Optimization with Maple: A new electronic book
This new electronic book, available from Adept Scientific, presents Maple – the world’s most advanced applied mathematical software for engineering and scientific applications – as an advanced model development and optimisation environment. Special emphasis is placed on solving multi-extremal models using the Global Optimization Toolbox™ for Maple™.
Designed for users of Maple in industry, commerce, research and education, the e-book demonstrates how Maple can provide an integrated platform for developing Operations Research/Management Science (ORMS) studies and applications. Following a brief introduction to ORMS, it presents an extensive collection of detailed numerical examples and illustrative case studies from the sciences and engineering.
