Made-to-measure thermocouples and RTDs
Making it to the range of data acquisition products available from Adept Scientific (Letchworth, Herts) are Measurement Computing’s (Norton, MA), a leading manufacturer of low-cost data acquisition hardware and software, ready-made thermocouples and RTDs.
The ready-made thermocouples are available in 1- and 2m lengths, complete with measuring junction at one end, and are available in J, K, T and E-types.
Sealed in an Alumina tube with three Teflon-coated leads, the ready-made RTDs can measure up to 400oF (204oC). Resistant to abrasion and moisture, each RTD is sold individually and is also available in 1- and 2m lengths with a 3 wire, 100 Ohm.
Both these products can be trimmed should a shorter length be required.
The addition of thermocouples and RTDs to Adept’s extensive data acquisition range, together with their expertise, enables customers to service all their DAQ needs in one place saving time and energy in searching for each component.
Experts are on hand to advise on the best hardware/software combination for specific applications and help source the most cost-effective solution.

What do our Customers say about us?
“Looking online for a software that would perform the particular task we need at the moment (resolution of overlapped Gaussian-shaped peaks), I was glad to find out that a fully functional trial version of OriginPro was made available by your company. Also, watching one of the tutorial videos, all commands and short-cuts I needed to get my results were shown there. Very handy and a time-saver.”Mauricio Morais, LCT, M.Sc. - Sr. Research Assistant - NEPS Lab Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at TUFTS Univers
Thank you so much for all your help this morning. Endnote works just fine now and I’m enjoying working on this editorial. I am almost tempted to add your name as a co-author, but the journal won’t allow it! Thanks again.DR RD
Yet again Origin and OriginPro upholds its foremost status as the best purposeful and all-embracing data analysis and graphing software on the market. Although other software packages exist, few are as straightforward to use, flexible, and high-quality when it comes to performing challenging data analysis or creating publication superior graphs.Keith J.
