EndNote, EndNote Web and Reference Manager refresher webinars in September for librarians and IT staff
After a brief break over the summer, UK technical software specialists Adept Scientific are back in September with their series of free informative webinars which introduce research-staples, EndNote, EndNote Web and Reference Manager.
These half hour presentations make an ideal opportunity for librarians and IT staff at sites with a relevant Chest licence to brush up their knowledge of the newest features before term starts and the students start asking questions.
If you’re in the know, you’ll be well placed to guide users as they employ reference management software to save time finding and storing useful references, citing authors and creating bibliographies.

When working with many data points, graphing is often the quickest way to qualify data and identify trends. With the Origin statistics gadget, it’s also easy to pull quantitative information, such as mean and standard deviation, straight from a data plot. This lets me make better decisions about which data to select for more detailed analysis.Boaz Vilozny - Postdoctoral Researcher, University of California at Santa Cruz
