When I click on the Compound Search button on the start up screen for the Merck Index, the cd-rom folder opens instead of the Merck Index.
Open the Compound Monographs folder on the Merck Index CD-ROM. I'd like to disable the ChemFinder for Word and ChemDraw buttons that appear in Word, but they always come back the next time I launch Word.
In the Tools menu in Word, select the Templates and Add-Ins option. Click on CFWord.dot, then click the Remove button. Repeat the procedure for the ChemDraw.dot.
