| Problem: Difficulty communicating with the online activation server. You may receive different error messages depending on what the exact problem is.
Cause 1: You may have entered an invalid product code during your installation of Mathcad.
Solution 1: Please check the product code on the computer screen against the code on the back of the CD envelope.
Cause 2: You may have a personal firewall or company firewall on your computer.
Solution 2: Temporarily disable your firewall and try again.
Cause 3: You may have exceeded your maximum number of activations.
Solution 3: If you are unable to activate automatically please contact us or your local authorised reseller by email for an activation code. Please include your product code and request code in your email by selecting activate manually. Please also specify the reason why the request is being made. |
