The PCM-Com 232 uses the COM port drivers supplied by Microsoft. They should already exist on your system. To update the drivers for this device, please follow these instructions.

Open the Device Manager: Right-click on the My Computer Icon and choose Properties, then click on the Hardware tab and press the Device Manager button.

The card may be listed under Other Devices or Unknown Devices. Right-click on it and choose Properties. Select the Driver tab and press the Update Driver button.

In the Window that opens click Next until you are given the options to Search for a Driver or to Display a list of known drivers. Choose to Display a list of known drivers. When this comes up, look for PORTS (COM & LPT) and click Next.

Keep clicking Next until you are presented with a Warning that states that these drivers were not specifically written for this Device. Press the YES button. Continue clicking Next until the driver is installed.
