ProCite Version 4.0.3 and higher can automatically open and convert an EndNote database. To do this:

    1. Start Procite and select "Tools > Convert File,"
    2. Select "All Files" from the Files Of Type field
    3. Navigate to the location of the EndNote database (*.ENL) and select it.
    4. Follow the prompts to complete the conversion. After conversion, individual records should be opened and checked to ensure correct conversion.

    ProCite 4.0.1 for Windows:

    1. Export a text file from Endnote using the export style called "ProCite." Launch ProCite 4
    2. Open the database into which you want to import these references.
    3. Select "Tools > Import Text File,"
    4. Locate the saved text file from Endnote and use the comma-delimited configuration to import.
