Error message: "Your application was not able to determine where to find the licensing data it needs. Please choose one of the following: specify the license server; specify the license file."

One cause is an expired license. Launch lmtools.exe, go to Borrowing, and check the Return Date field.

Solution: Extend the borrowing period by setting a new return date.
