Creating your own Mathcad template

Mathcad 87CA Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the Mathcad installation directory. There you will find a directory called 'Template' - in here there is a file called 'normal.mct'. Create a copy of this and call it normal.old so that you have a copy to revert to in the future should you need to do so. In Mathcad open a new, blank worksheet. Make the changes you require such as paper size, margins etc. Now go to the File menu and select 'Save As'. Go to the Mathcad Template directory. In the Save as dialogue box, select 'Mathcad template(*.mct)' from the 'Save as Type' drop down list and save the worksheet as normal.mct. This version will now act as the default template.
