Why does my program tell me it's a demo version?

Reference Manager 6ADE 1. Accessing Reference Manager versions 8.x or 9 via file sharing will report it as a demo version. This is the intended behaviour and not a bug. 2. If you have moved to a new computer and restored a backup of your program rather than doing a fresh install, you will get this message because the proper entries for Reference Manager have not been made in the Windows registry. You must do a fresh install of Reference Manager to get it to work properly and to access the "Cite While You Write" feature. Note: Microsoft Word must also be installed rather than copied or restored from a backup. Word must be installed prior to Reference Manager for the "Cite While You Write" tools to be installed.
