To convert ProCite 3 databases into Reference Manager 9.5, first convert the database from version 3 to ProCite version 5.   ProCite 3 databases cannot be read in Reference Manager 9.5.

This can be done free of charge by downloading the ProCite 5 demo at http://www.adeptscience.co.uk/products/refman/procite/download.phtml.

After downloading the demo, open the ProCite 3 database in ProCite 5. It will prompt you to convert and rename.  Select ok.  Once this has been done, launch Reference Manager 9.5 and proceed to open the new ProCite 5 database.  Will also prompt you to convert and rename.

Please make sure that you have backups of your original databases before you start converting them.
