'This method or property is not available because preview mode is active' error message from EndNote X5 in Word when using Print Preview.

This problem occurs for users who are using an un-patched version of EndNote X5. To resolve this issue, navigate to Help > EndNote Program Updates and follow the instructions to update your version of EndNote X5 to EndNote X5.0.1. Once you have done this the error message should no longer occur.
