"Error number 308 has no text" when running Instacal

Check for duplicate copies of CBW32.DLL on the PC by searching the entire hard drive, including system and hidden files, for files of this name. There should only be one copy, in the main Instacal installation folder (typically C:\program files\measurement computing\daq\ or C:\MCC on older systems.) Duplicate copies can cause the problem you describe.

If this fails, try deleting the file CB.CFG, and then running Instacal to recreate the file.
